UK Airline flybmi Ceases Operations, Blames Brexit
British Midland Regional Limited, the East Midlands-based airline known as as flybmi, announced on Saturday that it ceased operations, canceled all flights and was filing for administration.
The airline said that uncertainty caused by Brexit was one of the main reasons for its decision to cease operations.
Bmi Regional operated 17 regional jet aircraft on routes to 25 European cities and employed a total of 376 employees.
The airline carried 522,000 passengers on 29,000 flights in 2018.
