Air Italy announced going into liquidation on February 11th, 2020

Air Italy announced going into liquidation. Flights will continue until the morning of the 26th of February 2020 and will be operated by other carriers. Passengers holding a valid ticket will be re-protected or fully refunded.

The company is owned by Qatar Airways (49%) and Alisarda (51%). Due to strong competition and on-going struggles with Boeing 737 Max disaster, the stakeholders decided to go into liquidation with a transitional period of 2 weeks.
